We have a team of dedicated copy writers waiting to write the perfect script for your personalised message on hold. Our team of professional voice overs will make sure your recording sounds professional and right for your target market.
At FYI Messages on Hold we also offer IVR prompts, which allow you to have a telephone message system that directs your callers to a certain extension. I.e. "press one for customer service" Press two for accounts"

How long will it take to get my messages on hold ready?
At FYI Messages on Hold we take the effort out of
creating your professional on hold message. Once you have given us your details, we will
set to work with creating your personalised message. In just 48 hours you will
have a demo to listen to ready on our website waiting for you to log in and
listen. Then just 48 hours after approval we will ship out your equipment,
recording and email you your file and software for download. It's that simple!
2. What should my message say?
That
really depends on what your business offers. Our copy writers will create a
tailor made script just for your business. We ask you a few questions about
your business on our online form, this helps us build a profile about your
company, then our highly trained copy writers, audio engineers and voice overs
set to work on creating a message which is perfect for your business. Your
message should always introduce your business, up sell your products, perhaps
even apologise for the duration on hold, but reassure the customer they chose
the right company to call.

Under
the Australian Copyright Act, people who sing and write music have a range of
rights they can exercise. This allows them as music owners to control when and
how their music is used, and if appropriate request payment for the use of
their recordings. This includes when a company plays music or connects to the
radio as on hold noise.
We believe in our product and service at FYI Messages on Hold and to prove it we fully back our product with a unique and unbeatable guarantee. Once you have signed up for your Messages on Hold package, if within the first 7 days you are unhappy with the product or service, we will refund all your costs in full*. (All equipment must be returned before any refunds will be issued)
Equipment Warranty
At FYI Messages on hold we also offer a one year warranty on all our equipment.
Should any of our equipment fail during the first year, we will replace it at no charge and provide free technical support to get you back up and running in the shortest period of time.
With all recordings, we will only go to production with the final recording when you have approved your script, so we will keep scripting your messages until they are perfect for you. You must be 100% happy before we provide you with the final recording for installation into the software or hardware. It is our guarantee that you will be happy with the recordings we produce for you.
Terms & Conditions
F.Y.I Messages on Hold ABN 37411556179 will supply you with message on hold services and any other services as advertised on our website ("Services") 1. OUR AGREEMENT WITH YOU 1.1 as a customer of FYI Messages on Hold these terms and conditions form the basis of our agreement with you. 1.2 Our agreement with you also includes: (a)to supply you with Message on Hold services ("Services") by us in accordance with the terms contained herein. (b)Your application or order form, which you complete and provide to us. We may accept and rely on facsimile copy or PDF copy of the application or order form as if it was an original. You will be bound by a facsimile or PDF copy of the application or order form as if it was an original. 1.3 Our agreement with you also includes our currently applicable price list. The price list may change from time to time and we will immediately post any changes to our web site when they happen to www.fyionhold.com.auCopies of the price list are also available from us, upon request. The price list quoted at the time of application will remain for the duration of this agreement but may change upon renewal of this agreement. 2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION 2.1 Services will be supplied to you through the Joint Venture Partners that we nominate in writing from time to time. You agree that we - (a) may change Joint Venture Partners without reference to you and at any time; and (b) have your express authorization to notify any relevant Joint Venture Partners in respect of and to effect any such change. 2.2 We do not warrant that we will be able to supply Services and we are not liable for any failure to provide all or part of any of the Services, but, to the extent and to the standard that Joint Venture Partners provide Services to us, those Services will be provided by us to you. 2.3 We do not supply services other than those services published on our website. 2.4 When using the Services, you agree to - (a) comply with all statutes, regulations, by-laws or license conditions of any government body; and (b) not breach any person's rights or otherwise cause us or a Carrier loss, liability or expense. 3. CHARGES AND PAYMENT 3.1 You agree during the term of this agreement: (a) to be charged for the Services we provide to you, regardless of whether it is you who uses them, at our current prices from time to time as published on our website; (b) that as our charges are exclusive of any taxes and bank charges, we can pass on to you the full amount of any taxes and bank charges payable on our charges; and(c) to pay accounts for all of those charges (including taxes and bank fees) by the date specified in the account ("Due Date") or upon demand to your nominated bank account or credit card account. You agree to maintain a direct debit authority with us at all times unless otherwise authorized by FYI Messages on Hold. You agree that your service/s with us will be immediately cancelled and all fees and charges become immediately payable if you withdraw the direct debit authority. (d) Recurring services fees are charged monthly/yearly/quarterly in advance and not on a pro-rata basis. (e) Monthly, quarterly, yearly Invoices will only be sent out no later then 2 weeks after direct debit from your nominated account 3.2 if you dispute in good faith an amount in the account, you must notify us in writing within fourteen days setting out reasons for the dispute and the amount in dispute. Notwithstanding any dispute as to any amount of any charge, you must pay the whole amount of each account by the Due Date... 3.3 where payment by direct debit or by credit card is dishonored by your financial institution; we have the right to charge a dishonor fee of five dollars for the first dishonor and twenty dollars thereafter. 3.4 Cancellation of services will only be accepted on our official "Cancel Service/s Application Form" and upon immediate payment of outstanding fees and charges. We require one final monthly, quarterly, yearly payment (dependant on your chosen package) notice should you wish to cancel 3.5 If the customer fails to pay any services owed to FYI Messages on Hold the customer and/or business may be defaulted which may affect the credit rating for the next 5 years. If Baycorp is employed by FYI Messages on Hold to re-coup outstanding arrears a further 25% will be made payable by the customer for Baycorp administration costs. The customer will be liable for any solicitor and/or Baycorp fees. 3.6 Set-up time quoted is on a best effort basis. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor its account and request a plan upgrade. There is no charge to move between our various packages which can be viewed on our website www.fyionhold.com.au3.7 The Now and Again package and Get Serious package both have a 24 month contract applied to them, at the end of each contractual commitment (i.e. 24 months) a 12 month contract will automatically apply.4. AMENDMENTS TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS we may vary, alter, replace or revoke any of these terms and conditions and we may interpret your ongoing use of the Services as constituting your acceptance of the variation, alteration, replacement or revocation. It is your responsibility to keep abreast with any changes as the updated terms and conditions will always be published on our website www.fyionhold.com.au 5. CREDIT CHECK FYI Messages on Hold is not an organization as defined under PART II, 6C of the Privacy Act. However, prior to our accepting your application, you have provided to us all information relevant to our assessment of your credit rating for COMMERCIAL CREDIT. We do not offer you CONSUMER CREDIT. You have consented to the following: (a) our obtaining from a credit reporting agency a credit report containing personal information about you; (b) our giving to and seeking from any credit provider named in a credit report or in your application, information in relation to your credit rating including without limitation any information about your credit worthiness, credit history or credit capacity that credit providers are allowed to give or receive from other credit providers under the Privacy Act 1988; (c) our making independent enquiries of third parties concerning your financial standing and for this purpose you have authorized and permitted such third parties to supply such information regardless of any confidentiality or privilege which applies to the information sought; and (d) our providing any information we obtain about you to the relevant Carrier. (e) Where your previous credit history indicates a credit risk or where any invoice is dishonored, we may require a bond of good faith equal to 24 months in advance of your nominated FYI on Hold package 6. TERM OF AGREEMENT 6.1 this agreement will commence on the date of its signing by yourself on our formal application form or invoice provided by our sales rep on your premises6.2 You may cancel this agreement at any time giving 30 days written notice to us 6.3 Unless otherwise noted in a written binding contract and subject to earlier termination, this agreement will automatically renew each monthly, quarterly, yearly period. 6.4 We may immediately terminate this agreement by written notice at any time if, without our prior written consent: you breach any term or condition of this agreement; a receiver or receiver and manager is appointed over any of your property or assets; a liquidator or provisional liquidator is appointed to you; you become bankrupt; you enter into any arrangements with your creditors; you assign or otherwise deal with your rights under this agreement; you cease to carry on business; or there is a material change in your direct or indirect ownership or control. 6.5 We may also immediately terminate this agreement at any time by written notice if the Joint Venture partners cease to provide necessary services to us.6.6 FYI Messages on Hold remain the copyright owner of all scripting, audio production and any other intellectual property supplied by us to you within these terms and conditions6.7 You agree not to use any scripting, audio production, intellectual property for any other purposes then to provide messages on hold to your telephone system, unless approved by written consent by ourselves 7. INFORMATION 7.1 you agree to provide us with any information we request in connection with our providing the Services to you under this agreement. 7.2 You authorize and consent to the following: (a) our conducting a physical audit of the Services and any equipment supplied in respect of the Services should we consider it necessary; 8. CONFIDENTIALITY you will keep confidential all information supplied by us and we will keep confidential all information supplied by you. 9. ASSIGNMENT your rights under this agreement are personal. You must not assign or attempt to assign any right or obligation under this agreement without our written consent. We may assign all or any of our rights and obligations under this agreement at any time by notifying you in writing. 10. WARRANTY OF AUTHORITY any persons signing this agreement on your behalf warrant that they have full power and authority to bind you in respect of this agreement. 11. OUR EQUIPMENT 11.1 Risk in any equipment (if any) provided by us or any third party to you for purchase or hire ("Equipment") passes to you upon delivery. You will accept any Equipment on the basis of these Terms and Conditions and any additional terms and conditions notified at the time of delivery. 11.2 All equipment supplied remains the property of FYI Messages on Hold11.3 If Equipment is installed at premises occupied by you, you must not interfere with the Equipment or its installation instructions. 11.4 You irrevocably grant to us, our agents and servants, leave and license without the necessity of giving any notice to enter at any time on and into premises occupied by you using reasonable force if necessary to inspect, search for and re-take possession of any Equipment in respect to which payment is overdue. You shall indemnify us and hold us harmless against any loss or damage suffered by any person or company arising from such possession. 11.5 On the termination of this agreement for any reason, you will immediately return all Equipment owned by us. Equipment must be returned by post at your expense to FYI Messages on Hold, PO Box 1001, Northlakes, Qld 4509, equipment must be returned in a reasonable condition given wear and tear within 30 days of termination of this agreement11.6 You agree that direct debit will not cease until full recovery of equipment is at the satisfaction of FYI Message on Hold11.7 If for any reason the return of FYI Messages on Hold equipment is not received within 30 days from receiving your termination of this agreement form, FYI Messages on Hold will have the authority to deduct from your direct debit account as supplied to us the amount of $999.00 ex GST, this does not allocate or exclude your responsibility to return all equipment to FYI Messages on Hold 12. OTHER EQUIPMENT 12.1 where you have a PABX or other network equipment, you must ensure that it is programmed as specified to play messages on hold. FYI Messages on hold will provide an instruction manual with all equipment supplied.12.2 Any installing of external plug (Line Isolation Unit) to your PABX is to be paid at your complete expense.
